The items were distributed to the various Muslim leaders, Zongo coordinators and constituency chairmen of NDC for onward distribution to the various Muslim communities.

Professor Asiedu however appealed to Muslims to pray for Ghana and President John Mahama in particular, in his quest to reset Ghana.

Ramadan, the ninth month of the Muslim calendar, is one of the most sacred times for Muslims.

During this month, Muslims observe a strict fast from dawn until sunset.
