The Ghana Meteorological Agency (G-Met) has warned of more rains into the night along the coastal towns of Accra, Kasoa, Cape Coast and Takoradi.
G-Met has however cautioned citizens living along these areas especially those living in flood-prone areas to take precautionary measures in order to stay safe.
This was contained in a statement issued by the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO) and signed by the Director of Communications, George Ayisi.
Wednesday 15th June, 2021, rains that lasted all day in some parts of the country including Accra and Cape Coast resulted in flooding in many parts of the country.
Cape Coast however saw severe flooding in areas such as Abura, Cape Coast Stadium and West End among others.
