Gov’t Agrees on 15% COLA, Teachers back in Class

The government of Ghana has agreed to pay 15% of the cost of living allowance (COLA) demanded by organized labour, following the high cost of living in recent times.

The government has thus called for an end to all industrial action underway, including the teachers strike.

This was contained in an agreement between the Government of Ghana and Organized Labour on Thursday,  14th July, 2022.
