The Chief Executive Officer of Asaase Radio, Mr. Gabby Otchere Darko is worried that some radio stations have been turned into boxing ring for political parties, instead of hosting programmes that will attract investors and bring development to the country.
According to him, Asaase Radio owned by him will never entertain political blows and insults of any nature but rather give opportunity to people whose statements will bring a positive impact.
Mr. Otchere Darko dropped this hint when he and his entourage visited Cape Coast to launch Asaase Radio branch in the Metropolis.
He promised to use his medium to promote tourism, culture and development as well as businesses in Cape Coast to redeem the image of the area.
“We will highlight issues to fix issues to serve the businesses in Cape Coast but not to destroy” he lamented.
Mr. Otchere Darko revealed that the Board and Management of Asaase Radio will soon launch a Central Region Business Excellence Awards to award businessmen who are contributing to the development of the Region.
He again assured that his outfit would work with businesses to see how best to create jobs in Cape Coast, promising to work through his medium to bring investors to the Metropolis.
On his part, the Paramount Chief of Oguaa Traditional Area, Osabarima Kwesi Atta II applauded the CEO of Asaase Radio, Mr. Otchere Darko for creating employment for the youth in Cape coast.
He said his door is always opened to work together with the management of Asaase Radio as a team to develop Cape Coast.
