The Upper West Regional Police Command has arrested 20 year-old suspect Anthony Yengbor for the alleged murder of his mother and two others as well as causing harm to an eight months old baby at Tampaala, a suburb of Jirapa.
According to police reports, the suspect allegedly attacked his 60year old mother, sister and her eight year old son and his (suspect) land lord’s wife.
“The victims who were found in a critical condition were taken to the St. Joseph’s hospital in Jirapa for medical attention. The three women were pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital and the eight year old baby however survived and receiving treatment at the Regional Hospital”.
