422,883 Candidates Begin 2022 WASSCE

422,883 candidates are expected to write the 2022 West African Senior School Certificate Examination which officially commenced today, 29th August, 2022.

The papers are being written in 775 designated centers across the country.

A statement signed by the Head of Public Relations Unit of the Ghana Education Service (GES), Cassandra Twum Ampofo cautioned the candidates to be extra conscious of activities which will have the potential of undermining the integrity of the exams.

It subsequently urged Regional, Metropolitan, Municipal and District officers of GES to take precautionary measures to ensure that this year’s exams are Malpractice free.

“Candidates should also be mindful of the implications of misconduct during the examination which could lead to suspension and/or cancellation of the results”, the statement underscored.
