MTN pledges unflinching support towards Festivals, donates to Obourdwan Festival

MTN Ghana continues to affirm its commitment towards festivals in the country through a series of donations to support such festivities.
The company keeps supporting over fourty traditional councils across the country every year.
The latest to benefit from such a gesture is the Obourdwan Festival, celebrated by the chiefs and people of Asamankese Traditional Area.
MTN supported the Asamankese Traditional Council with an amount of GHC 10,000, a gift hamper and airtime worth GHC 1,000.
Presenting the items to the Traditional Council, the South-west Manager for MTN Ghana, Prince Owusu Nyarko maintained that MTN’s support towards such festivals over the years formed part of the company’s quest to make the lives of their customers brighter.
“As a friend of the Traditional Area, we have come to reaffirm our relationship and lend our support. Today we have come to support the traditional council in revamping their cultural heritage”, he stated.
Prince Owusu Nyarko emphasized that “MTN believes that, through these support to the various Traditional Areas, we help promote development in our communities”.
He hoped that through such festivals, the Company would be able to strengthen its relationship with customers and help resolve some of their challenges with MTN’s products and services.
“We all must help educate our cherished customers on the benefits of keeping their phones and wallets safe”.
He thus thanked the chiefs of people of Asamankese Traditional Area for their continuous support and loyalty to the MTN Brand.
