MTN has done it again; gifts Christmas babies hampers

Story: GEORGINA APPIAH

As usual, Christmas will not be celebrated without MTN Ghana gifting new borns on Christmas day.

As the ‘Three Wise Men’ in the Holy Bible visited Jesus with different kinds of gifts, so is MTN emulating that shinning example in present day Ghana.

The Company has taken it upon itself to welcome babies born on Christmas day into the Yellow family and as such present such babies with gifts every Christmas.

In Central Region, the MTN team  presented about thirty hampers to the Christmas babies in some selected hospitals including the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital on Boxing Day 2023.

Speaking to the media, the Area Sales Manager, Francis Gyang was happy the mothers who received the items on behalf of the babies appreciated the gesture.

The Human Resource Manager for South, Regina Arkaifie indicated that “mothers go through a lot, as they find it difficult to buy diapers for their babies sometimes”.

She hoped the baby hampers, which included diapers would meet the mothers halfway.

A Midwifery Officer at the CCTH, Helena Coffie, who led the team to present the items to the babies and their mothers thanked MTN for the Kind gesture.
