Percy vows to retire KEEA’s Samuel Atta Mills

The parliamentary candidate elect for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for Komenda-Edina-Eguafo-Abrem(KEEA) Mr. Percyval Dennis Quaicoe has vowed to unseat and retire the incumbent Member of Parliament(MP) for KEEA, Mr. Samuel Atta Mills come December 7th, 2024.

According to him, the incumbent MP was tired, after representing the people in the constituency for 12 years in Parliament and needed to  retire as soon possible.

“Am very much optimistic that Mr. Samuel Atta Mills will be happy to handover the baton of leadership to me to sit on this beautiful trone as KEEA member of parliament”, he announced.

Mr. Percyval Quaicoe made this known to the media, shortly after his victory in the NPP parliamentary primaries in KEEA.

Certified results by the Electoral Commission (EC) showed, Mr. Percyval Dennis Quaicoe polled an overwhelming 429 votes to beat his closest contender, Mr. Ebenezer Agyeman Kessie who polled 274 votes and Mr. Samuel Kofi Dentu who manged 268 votes.

“I have all it takes to unseat Samuel Atta Mills come 2024 general elections so my victory should be a sign of unity, peace and tranquility so that we can win the seat together”, Mr. Percyval Quaicoe urged the party folk.

NPP seems to have a better chance to win KEEA seat with Percy-Assemblyman

“I want to tell the people of KEEA and delegates that we should think of winning 2024 parliamentary elections in KEEA to unseat Samuel Atta Mills” Mr. Percyval Quaicoe stated.

Mr. Percyval Quaicoe was optimistic that KEEA constituents were yearning for him to take over the parliamentary seat from Mr. Mills and strongly believed Samuel Atta Mills will surely handover the baton to him come 7th December general elections.

Thirty Eight candidates contested the internal polls in the twelve (12) ‘orphan’ constituencies in the Central Region in readiness for the 2024 parliamentary elections.
