Mahama’s Running Mate: Central Regional Forum Congratulates Prof. Naana Jane Opoku Agyemang
The rank and file of the Central Regional Forum, a social democratic Organization operating in the Region, is extremely delighted with the nomination, selection and announcement of Prof Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang as the Running Mate of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama for the 2024 polls.
In a press release copied to Gnews Prime, the Organization stated that “this decision is epic, ordained, a game changer, historic, and a victory choice that enhances the charismatic brand Ex-President John Mahama represents”.
“This Running Mate is decent, honest, upright, incorruptible, an achiever, down to earth, very approachable, highly accessible, result oriented, appreciates the Ghanaian values, not tribalistic, has integrity and respected by neutrals, the middle class, women, youths and the masses”.
‘Auntie Naana’, as she is affectionately known in every corner of Central Region, is credible and will restore dignity and trust to the high office of the Vice President of Ghana, the statement underscored.
“We unreservedly extend our heartfelt Congratulations to you, Auntie Naana on your elevation and add that your selection has gone down very well with the women and stakeholders of Central Region and beyond”.
The statement continued that “many women are motivated to go all out in their numbers to participate in the ongoing publicity on the 24 hour economy and grassroots based campaigns towards the Rescue Mission”.
Signed by the Co-Rapportuer, Ɔwɛnfoba Kwesi Dawood, the statement further indicated that the nomination and confirmation of Prof Opoku Agyemang as the Vice Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress, not only underlined President Mahama’s commitment to improving women’s participation and representation at the highest level of political leadership.
It also highlighted the decades of dynamic experience of Prof Naana Opoku Agyemang.
“To our incoming President, we express our utmost appreciation to you for this fantastic choice and promise to work harder to deliver the popular votes for you to be in the Flagstaff House next year to save Ghana and Ghanaians”.
