26-Year-Old Eric Asamoah Jailed 16years for defiling 7-Year-Old Boy

A 26-year old man, Eric Asamoah has been sentenced to 16 years imprisonment with hard labour for defiling a seven year old boy in Mankessim in the Central Region of Ghana.

Eric Asamoah was said to have perpetrated the act on November 3, 202, and with assistance from the boy’s father, Police tracked and arrested him.

According to a statement from the Central Regional Police Command,, the victim was sent to the Saltpond Municipal Hospital for examination and treatment.

The victim, according to a medical report is responding to treatment.

A Cape Coast Circuit court Two, presided by H/H Nana Aba Quaiba Nunoo convicted the accused, after he pleaded guilty to the charge of defilement.

Chief Inspector Siman Sartey was the prosecutor.
