MTN Supports Aboakyir Festival with GHC 20,000 and more

MTN Ghana has donated a cash of GHC 20,000, assorted drink hamper and data to support this year’s Aboakyir Festival, celebrated by the chiefs and people of Effutu Traditional Area in the Central Region of Ghana.

Presenting the items, the Central and Western Regional Senior Manager for MTN, Prince Owusu Nyarko emphasized the company’s commitment to community development.

“At MTN, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve. We are committed to supporting initiatives that promote cultural heritage, community development, and social cohesion”, he stressed.

Mr Owusu Nyarko further stated that the Aboakyir Festival was a significant event in Ghana’s cultural calendar and as such, MTN Ghana was proud to be associated with it.

“We believe that these items will contribute to the success of the festival and enhance the overall experience for participants and spectators”, he noted.

“We are excited to be part of this celebration and look forward to a successful and memorable festival”.

The Omanhen of Effutu Traditional Area, Neenyi Ghartey V11, received the items and thanked MTN for the kind gesture.
