Chief offers free land to investors to make Asebu industrial hub

Omanhen of Asebu Traditional Area in the Central Region, Okatakyi Prof Amenfi VII, has created a settlement offering free land to investors to build homes and businesses to make the area an industrial hub in the Central Region.

“I am ready to welcome and offer any investor who is ready to invest in the area free land for industries because I want Asebu to be an industrial hub of the Central Region”, Okatakyi Prof Amenfi announced.

“We are inviting everybody especially investors to come to Asebu to support the development of Asebu. We have created an area for everybody so when you come, you will get a place to settle and establish your industry to create employment for the people of Asebu and Central Region in general “, he maintained.

Okatakyi Prof Amenfi made the passionate appeal during his silver jubilee anniversary at Asebu Palace in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese district.

It was celebrated with the theme; “Celebrating 25 years of leadership and 100 years of Asebuman Heritage, honoring the past, empowering the future”.

Okatakyi Prof Amenfi stated that he had done tremendous work through his 25 years as a Chief of Asebu Traditional Area and promised better things ahead in the next 25 years, to change the status of the area.

He therefore promised to transform Asebu in the next 25 years to attract more investors to help the youth to get jobs to improve their livelihood.

According to the Omanhene, he had spent billions of Ghana cedis on educate the youth to ensure every school going age child in Asebu Traditional Area was well educated.

He promised to use his position as Omanhene and Professor to produce more educated people in the area to enable them meet the requirements of any investor who was willing to construct a factory or develop projects in the area.

Debeahen of Asebu Traditional Area, Nana Owiredu Apreko I, who added his voice told Mynewsgh.com reporter, Hajia Asana Gordon that Asebu Traditional Area led by Okatakyi Prof Amenfi had acquired 8,000 plots of land for Africans from the diaspora to develop in a timely manner and become valuable and respected members of the Asebu community.
