Boxing Day: MTN Ghana Donates Hampers to Babies born on Christmas

In fulfillment of its annual commitment of welcoming babies born on Christmas Day, MTN Ghana has again gifted baby hampers to 2025 Christmas babies at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital (CCTH), in a bid to spread joy to the neonates.
This Christmas, twenty-five (25) babies were delivered at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital, and the gesture by MTN Ghana was to usher the babies into the MTN family.
The hampers contain a number of baby products including; baby oil, diapers, pomade, detergent among other essential baby items.

Speaking to the media at the CCTH, the Human Resources Manager for MTN in the Central and Western Regions, Regina Arkaifie, who led the MTN delegation for the hamper distribution stated that babies born at CCTH on Christmas had been benefiting over the years.
”Over the years, there has been immense excitement among mothers who give birth on Christmas”, she mentioned .
“We are grateful that MTN as a business is also contributing their quota to the communities and impacting society’, Regina Arkaifie stressed.
The Human Resource Manager further stated that “there are exciting opportunities and products and services that MTN is bringing into the market and focusing on ‘Fibre to Home’ product to help people operate smart devices easily”.

She continued that MTN would ensure that all communities were hooked onto the Fibre to Home product to be able to use data seamlessly.
The Deputy Chief Nursing Officer in charge of Child Health at the CCTH, Veronica Koomson on behalf of the hospital and the mothers thanked MTN for the kind gesture.
She disclosed that the items would benefit the mothers immensely, especially in the first few months of their lives as new mothers.
”Most of the mothers do not bring anything to the hospital when their time is due so this will go a long way to help them”, she revealed.
