Komenda Traditional council calls for unity in NPP to win KEEA seat

Komenda Traditional Council has called for unity within the governing New Patriotic Party(NPP), especially in the Komenda-Edina-Eguafo- Abrem(KEEA) in order to build a formidable and united front to win the KEEA seat.

The Traditional Council again threw their support behind the aspiring parliamentary candidate for KEEA on the ticket of NPP, Mr. Samuel Kofi Dentu and prayed for him(Dentu)to win the seat.

These came to the known when the campaign team members for Mr. Kofi Dentu stormed the Komenda local council to present assorted drugs, bottled water and an undisclosed amount of money to support a health screening exercise as part of the Komenda Nyeyi Afahye festival being climaxed today, September 9, 2023.

The Chairperson for the Komenda Nyeyi Afahye Planning Committee, Madam Georgina Efua Cudjoe who spoke to the media on behalf of the Traditional Council appealed to Mr. Kofi Dentu’s campaign team not to see themselves as enemies but come together and work hard to win victory for Mr. Kofi Dentu.

She saluted Mr. Kofi Dentu for his kind gesture, which included paying for the allowance of the medical team who conducted the health screening.

Presenting the the items, the Campaign Manager for Samuel Kofi Dentu, Mr. Robert Amoah appealed to the residents of Komenda to desist from throwing garbage into the drainage to prevent any disease.

“Mr. Kofi Dentu who is a native of Komenda will always provide good leadership to transform KEEA, if he gets the opportunity to serve the people of KEEA as a Member of Parliament(MP)”, he assured.
