Give traditional medicine chance to transform Ghana’s economy- Prof Duncan

The International Scientist of the year in the field of Medical and Health Sciences/Herbal Medicine, Prof Samuel Ato Duncan has emphasized the need for the government to give traditional medicine chance to compete on the international market and rake in more foreign exchange to improve upon Ghana’s economy.

Prof Ato Duncan who has received multiple awards both locally and internationally strongly believed his experience, when given the opportunity, could help transform the economy of Ghana.

“I can help improve the economy of Ghana, looking at my experience and the opportunities I have now”, he stressed.

Prof Ato Duncan who doubles as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of the COA Research and Manufacturing Company Limited observed that “Ghana will be better when the government explores the area of traditional or plant medicine”.

He dropped this hint when he organized an end of year party for the over 200 workers of COA FC Company Limited at Wusurkrom in the Abura Asebu Kwamankese(AAK) District of the Central Region.

The President of Central Regional House of Chiefs, Odeefuo Amoakwa Buadu VIIII who is also the Paramount Chief of Breman Traditional Area lauded Prof Ato Duncan for making Ghana and the Central Region proud.

He promised on behalf of his colleague chiefs to help him develop more businesses in the Region.
