Tony Mintah, the Chief Executive of Ghana’s Fifth Generation (5G) technology internet service provider, has gone missing.
The police have thus initiated investigations to trace his whereabouts.
Ghana’s 5G technology has been planned to go live on November 1, 2024.
A police statement issued Wednesday (October 23) afternoon said Tony Mintah “was allegedly taken away by unidentified individuals from the premises of the National Communications Authority (NCA) in Accra.”
The police statement does not indicate when he was taken away, except to state that anybody with relevant information about his whereabouts should contact the police.
