Chief allegedly buries lady in his room, Police refuse to Comment
A lady believed to be around 25years of age has allegedly been killed and buried in the room of a suspected chief, Nana Crack believed to be a Chief of Ekumfi Ackwakrom.
Information gathered by Gnewsprime.com indicates that the Chief with the help of a suspected pastor killed the lady and buried her in the chiefs house in Mankessim in the Central Region of Ghana.
The pastor is currently in the grips of the police in Mankessim after he confessed to aiding the chief to kidnap the lady known as Georgina Asor Botchwey and secretly buried her in the chief’s room.
Gnewsprime.com has picked information that the Chief has also been arrested.
On Tuesday, September 20, the pastor led investigators to the room of the Tufohene of Ekumfi Akwakrom, Nana Crack, and the mortal remains of Georgina Asor Botchwey were exhumed.
The body of the victim has since been deposited at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital morgue for autopsy.
Meanwhile, the police in Central Region have refused to comment on the matter, as numerous attempts to get the police confirm the incident with detailed information failed.
The family of the deceased have however expressed shock about the incident and have called on the police to bring the perpetrators to book.
