Three persons have been reported dead and thirty-nine others injured following a rock blasting in Gomoa Buduburam in the Central Region of Ghana.
According to a Graphic Online report, the blasting was done by the contractor working on the Kasoa-Winneba road.
It affected residents and commuters.
Eyewitnesses said debris from the blast hit and crushed nearby houses and persons around at the time.
It is unclear the blast was routine or accidental explosion.
The police are yet to comment.
The deceased and the injured were sent to the St Gregory hospital at Buduburam.
