Oguaa Fetu Afahye: MTN assures Celebrants of exciting packages, donates GHC 25,000 to Traditional Council

The leading telecommunication company in Ghana, MTN has assured celebrants of this year’s Oguaa Fetu Afahye of exciting packages, when they visit their set-up at Adisadel in Cape Coast.
Over the years, MTN has supported the Oguaa Fetu Afahye in diverse ways, including financial support.
This year, the Company donated GHC 25,000 and a drink hamper to the Oguaa Traditional Council as part of MTN’ contribution towards the Festival.
The Oguaa Fetu Afahye is celebrated by the chiefs and people of the Oguaa Traditional Area.
This year’s Festival marks the 60th and 25th anniversary of the Oguaa Fetu Afahye and Oguaa Omanhen, Osaberima Kwesi Atta respectively.
The festival is held every first week of September and climaxed on the first Saturday of the same month.
In an interview with the media, the Central and Western regional Senior Manager for MTN Ghana, Prince Nyarko noted that the gesture was part of the company’s social responsibility.
He stated that the Company was actively involved in a promotional campaign at the Adisadel park to entice patrons.
He thus invited customers and potential ones to patronize the products and services of MTN, in order to benefit from the promotion.
