MTN donates assorted items to Sekondi Muslim community in support of the Eid

MTN Ghana has donated assorted food items including a ram to the Sekondi Muslim Community in support of the annual Eid- ul- Fitr.

It was also to deepen the already established relationship between the telcos giant and the community and to also implore the Muslim community to make MTN their ‘number one’ go to network.

Eid-Ul-Fitr commemorates the end of the holy month of Ramadan, in which Muslims fast daily from  dawn to sunset.

It is one of two major holidays celebrated by muslims.

The South-west Regional Senior Manager for MTN, Prince Owusu Nyarko, who led the delegation to present the items hoped muslims would continue to pray for the Company.

Sheik Zulkifil Abdul Wahid Umar is the Western Regional Chief Imam.

He thanked MTN for the kind gesture and urged the Company to continue to support the muslim community in diverse ways.
