MTN GHANA committed to supporting local businesses

MTN’s Chief Enterprise Business Officer, Angela Mensah-Poku, has expressed the company’s commitment to supporting local businesses and as such contributing to the national economy.

For this reason, MTN Ghana has launched a product dubbed, ‘Yello Biz’, an integrated service, which combines Broadband internet services with Microsoft 365 license, Unified Communications and WebWiz, a customized website solution for businesses.

“This and other tailor-made solutions are to potentially support  businesses”.

The MTN’s Chief Enterprise Business Officer stated these in a speech read on her behalf by MTN’s Acting Senior Manager for Enterprice Business, Mr Godwin Adzimah at the 2024 GNPC Local Content Conference and Exhibition in Takoradi.

“As a major player in Ghana’s telecommunications industry, we are encouraged that our participation underscores our commitment to local content development. We are committed to supporting local businesses and contributing to the national economy”.

Madam Angela Mensah-Poku urged industry players to collaborate, innovate, and support local talents and businesses for the growth of the Ghanaian economy.

“MTN Ghana is committed to fostering local content and innovations. The discussions and ideas shared here will undoubtedly propel us towards a more inclusive and sustainable future”.

“I am delighted to participate in this year’s Local Content Conference and Exhibition. Our involvement last year gave us a great experience, providing us with a platform to connect with key stakeholders in the oil and gas industry, including government officials, industry experts, and other businesses. This led to valuable partnerships and collaborations”.

Hence, MTN was able to showcase technological innovations and solutions that support businesses, including the oil and gas sector.

They included digital tools, connectivity solutions, and enterprise services that enhance operational efficiency.

“Today, we understand the needs and challenges of the oil and gas sector and businesses within the value chain”.

The MTN’s Chief Enterprise Business Officer called for continuous collaboration, innovation, and support for local talents and businesses.

Maintaining that “Together, we can build a stronger and a more resilient economy”.
