Aftermath of NPP Presidential Primary: Special Assistant arrested for allegedly stealing delegates monies

A special assistant to the Bono Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party, Adjei Sarkodie has been arrested for allegedly stealing monies supposed to have been distributed to delegates who participated in the just ended presidential primary of the party.
“He was chased and beaten by the delegates in Tain for failing to deliver moneis given to him by Kennedy Agyapong, one of the Presidential aspirants, for onward distribution to the delegates in Tain as their transportation money”.
Speaking to Peace FM’s Addai Munumkum, the Tain Police District Commander, Gabriel Alorsay confirmed the incident and indicated that the stolen monies running into several thousands of Ghana cedis had been retrieved from the suspects.
